With extensive experience in alpaca management, Pinjarra Alpacas offer specialised herd management for your alpacas. Our facility on the beautiful Strathbogie Ranges tableland provides the ideal climate for alpacas, with cool winters and warm summers with plenty of sunlight.

We operate a sustainable approach to pasture management, ensuring that our feed is nutritious and in good supply.

Professionally managed services

We provide close monitoring before, during and after criation (alpaca birthing). Thus ensuring that any problems are picked up early before they cause harm to mother or baby.

Our service includes all aspects of animal husbandry for the alpacas, including vaccinations and drenching, nail and teeth trimming, arranging on site shearing

Including Veterinary Services

If specialised veterinary assistance is required, we are lucky to have Dr Tiffany Ellis in Euroa and Veterinary Surgeon Dr Peter Bartram nearby in Benalla. Peter is highly experienced in camelid medicine and has studied camelid medicine with Dr Murray Fowler at the University of California. Both vets are available on call 24 hours a day.

Mating Services

We have a variety of prize winning stud males available for mating services. Not sure of mating choices? We are happy to offer advice on your breeding program and goals.

Sale Preparation and Marketing

We can sell your animals for you! With our on site sales centre, clients are in an ideal position to avail themselves of this service. We advertise your alpaca with full details, photos, and fleeces statistics (when available). Our farm belongs to the Q Alpaca program (Certificate number - 06/0143), allowing us to send alpacas from our farm to all parts of Australia. Exports can also be arranged.
